The (Former) Pink and White Building on East Washington

Developed

Pink and White Building on East Washington, a vacant property in downtown Petaluma

The former decaying pink and white building is at the corner of East Washington and Baylis Streets, across from the Copeland Transit Mall where people come and go by bus. It is unknown how long this building was in disrepair and underutilized before the property changed hands in 2025.

201 E Washington under renovation.

The new owners have renovated the property, and are offering it now for lease. Their listing reports 1,400 square feet of premium commercial space, which is “ideal for a boutique, coffee shop, bakery, market, creative studio and more.” The upstairs is listed as a 4 bedroom/2 bath rental unit.

This site is listed as a priority opportunity site for development of pedestrian-oriented mixed-use in the 2013 Station Area Master Plan.
