Former Starbucks on Petaluma Blvd

The Starbucks on Petaluma Blvd North closed on September 16, 2025. Since then it’s been rumored that Petaluma Pie Company would be moving into the space. We now understand that Sapo Coffee will be moving into the space. Stephanie Martinez is the owner of Sapo Coffee and the sister of Taylor Martinez Santaella, owner of the adjoining Petaluma Pie Company — the rumor has been “clarified.” The preliminary Sapo Coffee website can be found here. A permit for $20,000 in tenant improvements was submitted on September 15, 2026. The tenant improvement review was in status “not approved” as of October 14, 2026. The permit can be accessed here.
